For Juniors:

Minnesota Association of Townships Scholarship Program

Scholarship amount: Up to five $2,000 scholarships


Details/Criteria: All students currently enrolled in the 11th grade and attending a Minnesota public, private, or parochial high school, or a home-study program are eligible. Application requires a written essay on the topic of “Broadband Access in Rural Areas of Minnesota.” Students must also submit a current high school transcript and a letter of recommendation from a high school teacher or counselor.

SE Division of the MN Society of Professional Engineers STEM Scholarship:

Scholarship amount: $1,000

Details/Criteria: Offered to Graduating high school senior or an existing college student, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering or math (STEM).

Scholarship amount: Two $1,000 scholarships


Details/Criteria: Open to graduating high school seniors and undergraduate students enrolled at Accredited American Universities or Colleges. Students are required to submit a PDF document including personal details, academic status, and a 500+ word essay response to a provided question,

Minnesota School Counselor Association Scholarship

Scholarship amount:  12  $500 Scholarships


Details/Criteria: Applicants must be a Minnesota public or private high school senior, must be able to articulate how a licensed school counselor impacted their life. The licensed school counselor written about MUST be a member of MSCA.

Minnesota Construction Association (MCA Scholarship:


Scholarship amount: 3 $1,000 scholarships awarded for tech/trade school and 4 scholarships awarded in the amount of $1,000, $2,000, $3,000, & $4,000 for 4-year program.

MBEX- Minnesota Builders Exchange Scholarship


Scholarship Amount: $500-$5,000


Details/Criteria: The MBEX / TBG Construction Scholarship will be awarded to multiple students pursuing a construction-related degree at an accredited post-secondary institution in Minnesota, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.

MN Chapter of Women in Public Finance

Scholarship amount: Varies

Details/Criteria: For female students with a 3.0 gpa or higher with an interest in pursuing a public finance related career in finance, government, nonprofits, banking or law; exhibit leadership skills through extracurricular activities, volunteer positions, internships and/or other work experience; essay required.

Nellie Stone Johnson Scholarship


Scholarship amount: up to $2,500


Details/Criteria: The Nellie Stone Johnson Scholarship is available to union member students of color who are planning to or currently attend Minnesota State College System. To be eligible, a scholarship applicant must be a person of color, and a union member or be the child, grandchild, or spouse of a union member. Scholarships are awarded to both full-time and part-time students who will be attending a Minnesota State tech or community college or state university in the fall of 2024.
