Students and Parents,
Dan Bieberdorf and Jake Dahl teach the Driver's Education program and will be offering 30-hour classroom trainings in Rushford and Houston this year for students wanting to get their driver's permit. Students must be at least 14 years old to take a class, and all classes will be held in the Rushford-Peterson and Houston High Schools (you do not have to be a student at R-P or Houston to attend).
Each course includes a special Parent Class (optional) and ten 3-hour student classes that each student will need to attend, as well as a make-up date will be for anyone that has to miss part or all of one of the classes. Feb 12: Class 1 - Noon-3:00 PM
Feb 18: Class 2 - 8:00-11:00 AM
Feb 19: Class 3 - Noon-3:00 PM
Feb 25: Class 4 - 8:00-11:00 AM
Feb 26: Class 5 - Noon-3:00 PM
March 4: Class 6 - 8:00-11:00 AM
March 5: Class 7 - Noon-3:00 PM
March 7: Class 8 - 5:30-8:30 PM
March 9: Class 9 - 5:30-8:30 PM
March 11: Class 10 - 8:00-11:00 AM
March 12: Make-up Class Noon-3:00 PM
Houston- Oct/Nov 2023 Specific dates for the Houston class are not set yet, but we are planning to offer the class after MEA (mid/late Oct) and finish before the start of winter sports (early Nov), with the goal being to avoid any conflicts with fall or winter sports. We will email the families as soon as the specific dates are finalized.
